Description/ Features
The ADTRAN T1 Channel Service Unit (CSU) Advanced Communications Equipment (ACE) provides the T1 interface between customer premises equipment (CPE) such as channel banks, T1 multiplexers, PBXs, etc.., and the carrier network. The unit provides functions such as surge protection, signal regeneration, alarms, loop backs necessary for circuit operation and fault isolation and is transparent to ESF or SF framing formats and AMI or B8ZS line coding.
